Medical Assistants can make a difference in people’s lives each day and play an essential role on a health care team. From 2020-2030, the demand for Medical Assistants is expected to grow by more than 16% in Minnesota, making it one of the fastest-growing health care careers. After completing the Medical Assistant program at Anoka Tech, graduates are eligible to take the Certification Exam of the American Association of Medical Assistants and immediately join an in-demand career. When Diana Sanchez moved to the US from Ecuador, she was looking for a college that would support her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
